Comments:

• Before installing RCV valves, check the existing valve stem ends for any damage. Valve stem ends must be in perfect condition before installation. If they are not, use a nail file to smooth and even the end. If a leak occurs after installation, remove the RCV valve, file the end flat, and then wrap 3-4 layers of Teflon tape around the valve stem threads. This should resolve any air leaks.
