Comments:

• The elements are unpainted and can be left in their original brushed aluminum finish, painted or powder coated.
• Requires drilling four 3/8" holes in the rear driver's side near the taillight to mount the latches
• Requires removal of factory rear door hinges to install new GenRight rear door hinges (no drilling required).
• Due to the thinner sheet metal of the JL body, we do not recommend mounting any accessories (Hi-Lift jacks, jerry cans, etc.) on the spare wheel carrier
• A hole for the cable has been drilled into the tire carrier to facilitate connection of the brake light and license plate
• This bracket carries the license plate. License plate lighting and a third brake light are required.
• The tire mount can be secured by replacing one or both of the supplied locking pins with a 1/2” locking pin”
• The mount is designed to carry a spare wheel weighing up to 72.5 kg.
• Do not overload the spare tire carrier with gas cans or other heavy objects as this may damage both the Jeep and the carrier.
